Dundee Tigers reinstated into the Scottish National League

Following lengthy discussions between Scottish Ice Hockey and Dundee Tigers we are pleased to confirm that the club will take its place in the SNL for the 2018/19 season.

The Tigers had initially committed to being part of the league next term, but a subsequent communication was made to SIH in contradiction of this.

With the club unfortunately not represented at last Sunday’s fixtures meeting, the board concluded that the Tigers’ intention was to withdraw from the SNL.

However, club officials have since confirmed to SIH that they wish to remain as members of the league for the upcoming campaign.

Having met the criteria laid down by the board to demonstrate their commitment to completing a full schedule of fixtures, SIH is happy to announce that the Tigers will be part of a nine-team SNL line-up next season.

With the number of teams finalised for next season, the fixtures can now be completed and will be released at 12 noon on Friday, 10th August.
