Great Britain U16 squad impress Hand and Lynch at two-day training camp

Ice Hockey UK national development head coach Tony Hand says he’s delighted with the progress being made by Great Britain’s U16 squad.

Hand joined head coach Steven Lynch at a two-day camp at iceSheffield where GB’s youngsters were put through their paces in a mixture of on-ice and off-ice sessions.

“It has gone really well – the players were pushed hard and it is great to see positive reaction,” said Hand.

“We have already seen progression from earlier in the season and a lot of players have come a long way.”

Lynch added: “It was a very good couple of days and the coaches learnt a lot about the players.

“They responded well to everything we did at the on and off-ice sessions.”
