Murrayfield Racers will play in the Scottish National League (SNL) from the start of the 2018/19 season.
The Racers recently applied to SIHA-UK to join the SNL and their application has been successful.
Murrayfield will also compete in the NIHL North Cup alongside Solway Sharks, Billingham Stars, Blackburn Hawks, Hull Pirates, Sheffield Steeldogs and Telford Tigers.
The franchise previously operated from 1952 until 1995, winning the British title six times.
The club also won the Northern League on seven occasions and the Benson & Hedges Cup in 1993.
The full structure for next season’s SNL will be confirmed in due course.
