Scottish-born forward celebrates 50th GB cap with two-goal haul

Scottish-born forward Angela Taylor celebrated winning her 50th cap for Great Britain Women with a two-goal salvo against Australia on Saturday.

Katie Henry and Taylor (above left) became the fifth and sixth players in history to reach the 50-cap milestone during GB’s 5-1 victory over Australia at the World Championship (Division 2A) tournament in Slovenia.

Head coach, Cheryl Smith, said: “It’s unique and it is a great honour for them to have. It was a very special day for those two players today.”

Taylor currently plays at club level for ZSC Lions Frauen in Switzerland.
