Scottish Ice Hockey hosting development training event for female junior players

The Scottish Ice Hockey Association is hosting a development training event for female players aged 8-18.

The two-hour session is designed to increase the number of girls participating in ice hockey in Scotland and to provide a pathway through the junior age groups and into the senior ranks.

It is hoped that the recent involvement of Scotland’s Sophie Campbell, Megan Gourlay and Audrey Wood for Great Britain U18 in a tournament in Spain will help inspire the next generation of female players.

The event takes place on Sunday, 26th November, at the Time Capsule, Coatbridge, between 9.30-11.30am. Registration will start at 8.45am (cost £12 per player).
