Aberdeen Lynx have raised over £600 for charity in memory of former Dundee Tigers player Marc Leggatt.
Marc tragically passed away last month at the age of just 27 after a battle with cancer.
He had been part of the hockey scene in Dundee from the age of seven, playing field, roller and ice hockey, representing numerous teams including Dundee Ducks, Glenrothes Grizzlies and the Tigers.
Marc had sought medical help when he felt unwell after collapsing and doctors found he was suffering from stage four cancer, which had begun in his bile duct and spread to his liver.
He was hospitalised in December with doctors saying he had weeks to live, but he fought back to enjoy a final Christmas and New Year surrounded by his family.
In addition to hockey, Marc enjoyed fishing, cycling, skiing and snowboarding.
Throughout his time in hospital Marc’s outgoing nature shone through as he raised the spirits of other patients and staff.
