Great Britain U18 have completed a two-day camp at Dumfries Ice Bowl as preparations continue for next year’s World Championship tournament in Hungary.
The six-team competition runs from 14th to 20th April and matches will be played in the Ifjabb Ocskay Gabor Ice Hall.
The GB youngsters were promoted from Division 2A last season and will now face Austria, Italy, Japan, Hungary and Slovenia in Szekesfehervar.
GB U18 coach, Martin Grubb, said: “It was an excellent camp and a very important one for us.
“The coaching staff were very impressed by the work ethic of the youngsters and we now have a tough decision to make the final squad selection.
“We have some fantastic youngsters in the GB programme at the moment and we are all excited about the future.
“Playing in Division 1 will be a tough challenge, but it is one everyone is excited about.”
