Great Britain U20 are set to undergo their final training camp ahead of naming their squad for next month’s World Championship tournament in Scotland.
The GB youngsters have a two-day camp at iceSheffield on Tuesday and Wednesday involving on and off-ice sessions.
Ice Hockey UK will be hosting this season’s World Championship U20 (Division 2A) in Dumfries from 10th to 16th December.
GB will face Estonia, Japan, Netherlands and Romania, along with Korea who were promoted from Division 2B this year.
Head coach Slava Koulikov said: “This is a very important camp as it will be the final one before we leave for Dumfries.
“I have been impressed with all the camps we have had so far and there has been some real competition for places.
“We have a great set of young players in the programme and I believe the future is bright for GB ice hockey.
“Players still have the chance to get their way into the squad, so I’m expecting it to be a competitive two-day camp.”
