Great Britain Women made it two wins from two at the World Championship (Division 2A) tournament in Slovenia with a 3-1 victory over DPR Korea on Sunday.
GB took the lead in the 17th minute as Leanne Ganney reacted first to a loose puck, with the assists going to Kim Lane and Sophie Herbert.
Angela Taylor smashed a shot from left point against the post, before scoring GB’s second when she picked out the top corner from the right circle after 25 minutes.
Korea got themselves back into the game halfway through the second period with a free-flowing move from back to front which saw Kim Un Hyang touch the puck past Nicole Jackson.
GB continued to pile on the pressure in the final session and were rewarded with their third goal in the 45th minute as Georgina Farman reacted first to a loose puck after she had started a move in the neutral zone.
Korea lifted their netminder Ri Pom in favour of an extra skater in the closing stages and Jackson had to be at her best to deny Jong Su Hyon from close range, but GB held on to secure the points.
