Ice Hockey UK has commissioned Wharton Consulting

Ice Hockey UK has commissioned Wharton Consulting, an independent organisation, to conduct a review of the governance and structure of the sport of ice hockey at national level within the UK.

The overall aim of the project is to research and recommend a governance structure for the sport which spans the Great Britain home nation (England & Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland), professional and amateur/recreational spheres, which is modern and fit for purpose, and which is capable of attracting external funding from Government and other partners.

For further details about the review, please see

As part of the agreed methodology, we would like to give as many people as possible the opportunity to have their say on this subject.

An online questionnaire has therefore been devised to capture your input – and this can be accessed on this link

The questionnaire should take no more than 20 minutes to complete and the closing date is Friday 15th August 2014.

Please be sure to make your views known before that date. This is a very significant project for the future of ice hockey within the UK and it is therefore important that as many people contribute as possible.

Thank you in advance for your support and assistance. If you have any difficulties in completing the questionnaire, please contact Neil Tunnicliffe at Wharton Consulting by email at

Please note that the role of Wharton Consulting is focused on this national level review. They are unable to enter into correspondence on individual or club matters.
