Junior round-up: Kirkcaldy IHC pushing hard for success on four fronts

Kirkcaldy Ice Hockey Club’s four junior sides are all in challenging positions in their respective leagues heading into the festive season.

Fife Falcons are currently second in the U20 section, two points behind Solway Sharks with two games in hand. The Falcons are one of two unbeaten sides at this level alongside Kilmarnock.

Fife Flames lead the way in the U16 league, one point ahead of Dundee Stars and Kilmarnock. However, the Stars have a 100% record and a game in hand on the Flames. Belfast Junior Giants also have a perfect record and are tucked in nicely behind the leading pack.

Kirkclady Chiefs are just a point behind leaders Kilmarnock in the U14 league, with Dundee and North Ayr Stars also pushing hard at the top of the standings.

North Ayr Penguins are top of the U12 league, level on points with Kirkcaldy Redskins who are yet to lose this season. Dundee, Solway and Lanarkshire are also in the mix.
