Scottish Ice Hockey is seeking to appoint two additional Management Committee Members to further enhance provision of basic resources and information required by the Board. The Management committee provide continuous up to date support, information and data to the Board to ensure all Board decisions are fair true and correct. The two positions will widen the scope and expertise of the Board starting in the 2023/24 Season. The two appointees will add specific knowledge and management expertise to the Board to ensure a higher level of focus on non-sport related subjects specifically in the following areas:

Management Committee Statistics & Fixtures Officer [SFO]

Working with other members of the Management Committee and Club representatives the SFO will be responsible for providing real time where possible statistics related to all sport activities. He/She will be able to work with standard statistical techniques and use of related web based / digital technology. He/She will be required to provide regular Management Reports during the Season for League levels of game [Senior / Junior]

The SFO post involves intensive gathering and analysis and therefore a fair commitment of time by the successful applicant. It is possible therefore that this could be a work-share activity

Management Committee: Marketing & Media Officer [MMO]

The appointee will be a member of the Management Committee of SIH and bring much needed clarity to the role. The person should be able to show evidence of having performed a similar role in other organisations [not specifically ice hockey related] over a suitable period of time.

The role will ensure that SIH achieve a better position in sports appreciation and following, leading to higher fan base and operational support including sponsorship and media presentation.
