Richard Hartmann has been appointed as an assistant coach of Great Britain U20.
The 43-year-old replaces Martin Grubb who was named as head coach of GB U18s back in August.
Hartmann, who is icing for Murrayfield Racers this season, completes the U20’s coaching staff and will work alongside head coach Slava Koulikov and fellow assistant Aaron Nell.
“I’m really proud to have this opportunity to work with Great Britain,” he said.
“Having been in this country since 2011, I’m very passionate about the national team and looking forward to working with Slava and Aaron.
“There are some fantastic young prospects in the Great Britain programme at the moment and I’m excited to be part of the set-up.”
National development head coach, Tony Hand, added: “Richard has a lot of experience, both as a player and coach.
“We think he will be a great fit for the existing coaching team and he will be able to use that experience to good effect.
“It is a big year for our junior sides this year and I think we have a great coaching line-up across the board to take us forward.”
