Great Britain U20 thrashed Korea 13-1 in their second game at the World Championship (Division 2A) tournament in Tallinn.
GB were beaten 6-4 by top seeds Lithuania on Sunday, but bounced back with an impressive performance against Korea.
First period goals by Chad Smith (2) and Josh Waller set GB on their way as they dominated the game from the outset.
Britain scored five goals in 10 minutes in the second period, with Morgan Clarke-Pizzo, Jordan Buesa, Waller, Tyler Cooper and Kieran Brown making it 8-0 by the second intermission.
Smith completed his hat-trick 76 seconds into the third period, before Korea got on the board when Beomjun Park finished off a well-worked move after 45 minutes.
Waller’s hat-trick goal arrived after a great pass from Brown a minute later and the latter bagged his second of the game soon after.
Mason Biddulph and Liam Kirk added further goals in the final 10 minutes to complete a resounding victory.
Head coach, Slava Koulikov, said: Koulikov said: “I thought we were exceptional against Korea. We were relentless all game and there were top-class performances all across the ice.
“Some of the goals we scored were outstanding and we can be very proud of that performance.
“The guys’ response to the defeat by Lithuania and the execution of the game plan was perfect.”
GB return to action on Wednesday when they face hosts Estonia (face-off 6.00pm UK time).
