The SNL looks set to enjoy an exciting end to the season, with plenty still to play for over the next few weeks.
Just two points separates the top four in the table and the race for the title looks likely to go down to the wire.
Dundee Comets lead the way with 25 points from 15 games, with Aberdeen Lynx a point behind having played two games more.
Kirkcaldy Kestrels also have 24 points after 15 matches, while Paisley Pirates are on 23 points from 14 games.
The Comets’ fate is in their own hands, with both Aberdeen and Paisley still to visit Dundee. Fixtures against Kilmarnock Storm and Moray Typhoons (H & A) complete their schedule.
Aberdeen can still claim top spot, although they will need their title rivals to drop points between now and the end of the season.
Lynx face away games against Kirkcaldy and the Comets, with a home game against Edinburgh Capitals rounding off their regular season campaign.
Kirkcaldy’s title hopes suffered a blow last weekend when they were defeated by the Comets, leaving them hoping that John Dolan’s side slip up in their remaining five fixtures.
The Kestrels have home games to come against Aberdeen, Solway Stingrays, Kilmarnock Thunder and North Ayrshire Wild, while their trip to face Paisley on March 3rd could be pivotal to the title battle.
Three of Paisley’s remaining six games are on home ice, with Moray, North Ayrshire and Kirkcaldy scheduled to visit Braehead Arena. The Pirates also face Dundee Tigers, the Comets and Storm on the road and they seem sure to have a major say in the destination of the title.
Edinburgh, Moray and Kilmarnock Storm will join the top four in the end-of-season play-offs, with the Tigers looking well-placed to claim the final place.
Kilmarnock Thunder, Solway Stingrays and North Ayrshire Wild are still hoping to avoid finishing bottom of the league, with the game between Wild and Thunder on February 11th expected to have a big impact on that battle.
