SNL round-up: Aberdeen and Kirkcaldy still locked together at the top

Aberdeen Lynx and Kirkcaldy Kestrels remain locked together at the top of the SNL after recording victories over the weekend.

Jonathan Hogan, Jordan Leyden, Mark Laing, Christian Johnson, Jamie Vincent and Ross McIntosh were on target for Aberdeen as they won 6-2 on home ice against Moray Typhoons.

Kirkcaldy recorded a 4-1 victory at Dundee Tigers – Reece Cochrane, Conor Duncan, Robin Floyd and Graeme Allan got on the scoresheet for the Kestrels.

Joel Gautschi (5), Aaron Robertson (5) and Ross Borwick (3) led the scoring for Edinburgh Capitals SNL in their 21-0 success at Kilmarnock Thunder.

Netminder Colin Gooding secured a shut-out for Kilmarnock Storm in their 4-0 win at North Ayrshire Wild – Scott Cowan (2), Scott Wiright and Alan Maitland got the goals.

Solway Stingrays are still waiting to pick up their first points this season after losing 12-3 at home to Dundee Comets.
