SNL round-up: Aberdeen go goal-crazy to stay two points clear of Kirkcaldy

Aberdeen Lynx still lead the way in the SNL after recording a comfortable 24-2 home victory over Solway Stingrays on Saturday.

Christian Johnson (7), Ross McIntosh (3) and Andrew Murphy (3) were amongst ten different Aberdeen goalscorers.

Kirkcaldy Kestrels remain two points behind Aberdeen courtesy of a 10-4 success at Kilmarnock Thunder – Liam Cassidy (2) topped their scoring.

Callum Hill, John Gordon, Andy Henderson, Jamie Whitelaw, John Dolan, Michal Beca and Charlie Scott were on target for Dundee Comets in their 7-1 win at home to Edinburgh Capitals SNL.

Paisley Pirates bounced back from last week’s defeat at Aberdeen to secure a 5-2 win at Edinburgh – Adam Walker (3) and Martyn Guy (2) grabbed the goals.

Moray Typhoons started their weekend double-header on home ice with a 5-1 success against North Ayrshire Wild, but they found Dundee Tigers a tougher proposition the following day.

Paul Guilcher, Mark McLeod and Callum Turnbull got the goals for Dundee as they ran out 3-1 winners.
