SNL round-up: Aberdeen go two points clear after victory over Kirkcaldy

Aberdeen Lynx produced an impressive performance against Kirkcaldy Kestrels on Saturday to move two points clear at the top of the SNL.

Jordan Leyden (3), Jack Durkacz and Jonathon Hogan were on target for Aberdeen as they secured a 5-0 victory.

Edinburgh Capitals SNL recorded a 6-2 success at Moray Typhoons – Caly Robertson (2), Jordan Steele (2), Aaron Robertson and Mikey Ireland got their goals.

Kilmarnock Thunder staged a remarkable comeback at home to North Ayrshire Wild to secure their second victory of the season.

The visitors led 4-1 with 13 minutes to play, but Thunder roared back to seal a 5-4 win. Marcus Murdoch grabbed the deciding goal with under two minutes remaining. Keir Anderson (3), and Struan Forbes also scored for the home side.

Kilmarnock Storm ended a three game losing streak with a 6-4 success at Dundee Comets on Sunday.

Goals by Scott Marr (2), Paul Guilcher (2), Mark McLeod, Kevin Turnbull, Robbie Barnett and Stuart Sinclair sealed an 8-4 victory for Dundee Tigers at Solway Stingrays.
