Paisley Pirates remain second in the table after securing a 6-2 home victory over Kirkcaldy Kestrels.
Murrayfield Racers maintained their unbeaten league record with an impressive 5-2 success at Aberdeen Lynx.
Rihards Grigors (2), Martin Cingel, Callum Boyd and Sean Donaldson were on target for the visitors who jumped above Lynx into third in the standings.
The Racers couldn’t follow up in the NIHL North Cup on Sunday, falling 4-0 at home to Billingham Stars – Kevin Boyd (2), Cain Taylor and Ethan Hehir got the goals for the Teessiders.
North Ayrshire Wild recorded their third league victory of the season with an entertaining 11-5 win at home to Dundee Tigers.
In the Stuart Robertson Cup, the Comets ran out 11-3 winners against the Tigers to move to the top of the eastern group, one point ahead of Murrayfield.
A victory for the Racers in their final group game against the Tigers will see them secure a place in the final against North Ayrshire.
