SNL round-up: Dolan drives Dundee Comets into Scottish Cup Final

Dundee Comets are through to the final of the Scottish Cup after storming back to defeat Kirkcaldy Kestrels over the weekend.

Kirkcaldy looked in control of the tie after securing a 6-4 win in Saturday’s first leg at Dundee, but the Comets bounced back in style in the reverse fixture the following day to secure a 5-2 success.

John Dolan’s hat-trick goal early in the third period was the decider as Dundee completed a 9-8 aggregate victory.

Aberdeen Lynx secured a healthy lead in the first leg of their semi-final tie at home to Paisley Pirates.

Jordan Leyden (3), Mark Laing, Christian Johnson and Mikulas Novotny were on target for Aberdeen as they ran out 6-2 winners.

The second leg is scheduled to take place at Braehead Arena on Saturday, 24th March.
