SNL round-up: Dundee Comets close the gap on Kirkcaldy Kestrels

The SNL title race is hotting up, with just three points covering the top four teams after the latest round of games.

Kirkcaldy Kestrels lost for just the second time this season as Caly Robertson’s four-goal haul¬†inspired Edinburgh Capitals SNL’s 10-8 road victory against the league leaders.

Dundee Comets are now just a point behind the Kestrels after winning 9-4 at Dundee Tigers – John Dolan (3) and Michal Beca (2) topped their scoring.

Aberdeen Lynx bounced back from last week’s defeat against Paisley Pirates with a hard fought victory over Kilmarnock Storm.

Forward Jordan Leyden was the star of the show with all four goals as Aberdeen ran out 4-2 winners. Lynx are currently third in the table, two points behind top spot having played two games more.

Marc Crute (4) and Martyn Guy (3) led the way for Paisley in their 12-3 success at Solway Stingrays. That result left the Pirates fourth in the standings, three points behind Kirkcaldy with a game in hand.

Moray Typhoons ran out 10-6 winners at Kilmarnock Thunder – Mikey Ferguson (2), Fraser Munro (2) and Chris Wright (2) were amongst the scorers.

Aberdeen Lynx 4-2 Kilmarnock Storm
Dundee Tigers 4-9 Dundee Comets
Kilmarnock Thunder 6-10 Moray Typhoons
Kirkcaldy Kestrels 8-10 Edinburgh Capitals SNL
