
Dundee Comets enjoyed a productive weekend in the Scottish National League (SNL), recording two comfortable victories to open up a five point lead at the top of the table.
The Comets cruised to a 21-3 win at home to Kilmarnock Thunder and followed up with a stylish 7-1 success at Paisley Pirates.
Mikvlas Novotny, Ross McIntosh, Jordan Leyden, Aaron Thomson, Andy Murphy and Jonathan Hogan were on target for Aberdeen Lynx as they started their league campaign with a 6-2 home win against North Ayrshire Wild.
Kirkcaldy Kestrels maintained their unbeaten league record with an 8-0 win on home ice against Dundee Tigers.
Murrayfield Racers are still searching for their first points in the NIHL North Cup after falling 11-0 at Hull Pirates.
