SNL round-up: Dundee Comets stun Aberdeen, Kirkcaldy and Paisley close in

Just two points separate the top four in the SNL after an exciting weekend of action.

Leaders Aberdeen Lynx slipped to just their second defeat of the season as title rivals Dundee Comets recorded an 8-3 road success. Seven different players got on the scoresheet for the Comets including a first senior goal for young ‘ D’ man Drew Rumgay.

Kirkcaldy Kestrels are now level on 16 points with Aberdeen after securing a 17-1 victory at North Ayrshire Wild – Scott Jamieson (4), Willie Nicolson (3) and Conor Duncan (3) topped the scoring for the visitors.

Paisley Pirates joined the Comets on 14 points with a pair of comfortable victories. The Pirates won 10-0 at Kilmarnock Thunder and followed up with a 7-2 home success against Edinburgh Capitals SNL.

Moray Typhoons also enjoyed a four point weekend, winning 11-0 at home to Solway Stingrays and 4-0 at Dundee Tigers – Joe Durkacz scored six goals over the two games.
