Adam Walker’s five goal haul fired Paisley Pirates to an impressive 6-3 victory over Aberdeen Lynx in the SNL on Saturday.
Walker grabbed a hat-trick inside the opening six minutes, but Aberdeen fought back through Callum Smith and Christian Johnson to reduce the deficit to one goal at the first break.
Paisley made it 4-2 after 22 minutes with Walker bagging his fourth of the match and that appeared to settle the home side down.
Ross McIntosh made it a one goal game the 44th minute, but further goals by Walker and Michael Dobson secured the points for the home side.
Dundee Comets moved up to second in the table courtesy of 17-1 home win against North Ayrshire Wild. The Comets are now three points behind leaders Kirkcaldy Kestrels.
Steven Mackin (2) and Fraser Munro (2) topped the scoring for Moray Typhoons as they recorded a 7-3 success at Kilmarnock Storm.
Edinburgh Capitals SNL extended their winning running to three games with 6-4 victory at home to Dundee Tigers.
