Paisley Pirates are through to the final of the Scottish Cup after recovering from a four goal deficit to defeat Aberdeen Lynx.
The Pirates put last week’s 6-2 first leg defeat firmly behind them to win the reverse fixture 7-1.
Richard Thorp topped the second leg scoring with four goals to help his side claim a 9-7 aggregate victory.
Paisley will now face Dundee Comets in the final on Saturday, 21st April, at Fife Ice Arena.
Kirkcaldy Kestrels are on course to reach the Play-off Finals Weekend after recording a comfortable victory in the first leg of their quarter-final tie against Kilmarnock Storm.
Scott Jamieson (3), Garry Simpson (2), Jamie Wilson, Conor Duncan and Robin Floyd were on the scoresheet as Kirkcaldy eased to an 8-1 road success.
The Comets are also in good shape to progress to the play-off semi-finals after securing a comfortable 12-1 victory in their first match with Dundee Tigers.
Aberdeen rounded off their regular season league fixtures with a 4-3 defeat at home to Edinburgh Capitals SNL – Joel Gautschi (3) and Aaron Robertson scored for the visitors.
The two sides will meet again in the play-offs over the Easter weekend.
