SNL round-up: Racers edge closer to final, Comets back on top of the league

Murrayfield Racers are in pole position to reach the final of the Stuart Robertson Cup after securing a 10-3 victory over Kirkcaldy Kestrels.

Sean Donaldson (4) and Callum Boyd (3) led the scoring for the Racers who can book their place in the final against North Ayrshire Wild with a victory over Dundee Tigers in their final eastern group game.

Kirkcaldy had an easier time of things in the SNL the previous day, cruising to a 23-1 win at Kilmarnock Thunder.

Dundee Comets moved back to the top of the table after recording a comprehensive 10-1 victory at North Ayrshire Wild.

Aberdeen Lynx bounced back from last week’s defeat against Paisley Pirates to run out comfortable 11-3 winners at Solway Stingrays.

Iain Malcolm (3), Jordan Leyden (2) and Jack Flynn (2) topped the scoring for the visitors.
