The SNL title race looks destined to go down to the wire, with the top three sides still covered by two points heading into the final few games.
Leaders Dundee Comets eased to a 9-3 success at Moray Typhoons to maintain their one point advantage over Kirkcaldy Kestrels at the top of the table.
The Comets’ final two games are on home ice next weekend against Paisley Pirates and Moray.
Scott Jamieson, Robin Floyd, Allan Anderson and Blair Campbell all weighed in with hat-tricks as Kirkcaldy ran out 20-2 winners at home to Kilmarnock Thunder.
The Kestrels’ final two fixtures are away to Paisley next Sunday and at home to North Ayrshire Wild the following Saturday.
Paisley remain in third place following a 4-1 win at Dundee Tigers – Richard Thorp (2), Martyn Guy and Marc Crute got the goals.
In addition to next weekend’s fixtures against their title rivals, the Pirates must travel to face Kilmarnock Storm on 10th March.
Edinburgh Capitals SNL moved up to fourth in the table with a 5-4 success at Solway Stingrays.
Adam Stuart (2), Graeme Lester (2) and Fraser Turner (2) topped the scoring for Storm in their 13-4 victory at home to Solway.
