We are reopening applications for three key voluntary roles that will play a big part in shaping the future of ice hockey in Scotland.

- Independent Non-Executive Director (INED), Legal & Governance – Appointed to the Board, bringing legal and governance expertise to ensure we continue to operate with the highest standards.
- National Development Program (NDP) Coordinator & Administrator – Supporting the delivery of our NDP, helping young players, coaches and officials progress through our pathways, while also assisting SIH administration.
These are voluntary roles (reasonable expenses reimbursed) and a chance to make a real impact in one of Scotland’s fastest growing team sports.
Role Spotlight: Senior Independent Director (SID) & Vice Chair

Role Spotlight: Independent Non-Executive Director (INED) – Legal & Governance
Scottish Ice Hockey continues to grow in strength and ambition – and strong governance is at the heart of our success. We are now recruiting an Independent Non-Executive Director (INED) – Legal & Governance to join our Board.
This is an appointed voluntary role (reasonable expenses reimbursed), offering the opportunity to provide expert advice and independent oversight on legal, compliance, and governance matters, ensuring SIH continues to operate at the highest standards.
Be part of driving our sport forward with integrity and ambition.
Role Spotlight: National Development Program (NDP) Coordinator & Administrator
Scottish Ice Hockey’s National Development Program is central to developing the next generation of players, coaches, and officials. To support its continued success, we are recruiting a National Development Program Coordinator & Administrator.
This voluntary role (reasonable expenses reimbursed) involves coordinating and administering NDP events and activities, while also supporting SIH’s wider administration. It’s a great opportunity to contribute directly to the growth of our sport and its future pathways.
