Scottish Ice Hockey are delighted to announce this year’s Scotland U19 national team, who will travel to Sheffield to defend the coveted Frank Dempster Trophy against England.
This year’s competition forms part of the 2025 England-Scotland Draft Showcase, a premier event bringing together the top talent from across both nations. Full details on the showcase can be found here.
Two games will take place at Ice Sheffield, hosted by England Ice Hockey, on Friday 2nd May and Saturday 3rd May. Both fixtures will be streamed live by English Ice Hockey for fans unable to attend in person.
We wish everyone the very best of luck in bringing the trophy home again this year and would like to thank England Ice Hockey for hosting this season.
Jamie Thomson – SIH/IHUK Director: “Bringing these games back over the last few years has been a massive success. The standard of hockey is excellent, and it gives the players a chance to pull on the national jersey, which is always a privilege. I’d like to thank Martin Peters and his team for hosting this year, and I’m looking forward to repaying the favour next season. The coaches have pulled together a very talented team, and I’m really looking forward to the games. I wish all the players the best of luck.”
