SNL round-up: Kestrels boost forward options, title winners back for the Racers

Kirkcaldy Kestrels have added two more promising forwards to their roster for the upcoming Scottish National League (SNL) season.

Jamie Crawford and Finley King have both impressed in the club’s junior set-up and will be handed opportunities at senior level this term.

Crawford already some SNL experience under his belt, icing eight times in the SNL over the past couple of seasons.

In addition to playing for the Kestrels, the 17-year-old will also feature in the Scottish U20 League for Fife Falcons.

King, the son of former Fife Flyers and Great Britain forward Steven King, has been a standout performer for Fife Flames at U16 level.

He bagged 97 points in 24 league games over the past two years and has already iced for the Falcons in the U20 league.

Both players have represented Scotland at Conference Weekend in all junior age groups and will be eager to continue their progression in the SNL next season.

Murrayfield Racers have confirmed two returnees to their roster, with forwards Callum Boyd and Steven Clark agreeing another year with the reigning champions.

Dundee Tigers have announced that ‘D’ man Robbie Hill has signed for the club after three seasons with Kirkcaldy. Forward Jack Terroni has also agreed a second year with the club.

Scott Henderson, Liam Stenton and Stuart Kerr return for another season with Solway Sharks, while Lewis McIntosh has signed for a further year with Dundee Comets.
