After a fantastic run of success with our junior program, Scottish Ice Hockey is now trialing the SIH Generate format for the recreational game – and the first-ever pilot event is happening this Saturday, April 26th, at The Linx Ice Arena in Aberdeen.
This is a major step forward for rec hockey in Scotland – a fast, exciting format built to offer a fresh challenge, bring players together, and drive the game forward at every level.

- 💷 £20 per player
🧊 Tournament Format:
- 6 teams | 10 skaters + 1 goalie per team
- Draft-style team selection to balance squads
- Full round-robin: each team plays 5 games
- 15 total games | 18-minute periods (running clock)
- 90-second line changes
- 3 scheduled ice cuts to keep play sharp
