Scottish Ice Hockey requires team managers to join national programme

SIHA Scottish Ice Hockey

Scottish Ice Hockey is currently looking for team managers to work at national level for the next two seasons.

This is a fantastic opportunity for organised and enthusiastic people to work with the best young ice hockey players in Scotland.

The successful applicants will be responsible for providing management and administration for all ‘off-ice’ activities as the first point of contact for players and parents, including collecting ice fees.

Candidates will need to be confident, approachable, possess good organisational and networking skills, and have a commitment to excellence.

He/she will be adept at problem-solving and conflict resolution, will have the ability to remain calm under pressure and will always demonstrate tact and diplomacy.

In addition to possessing an excellent understanding and commitment regarding the welfare and safeguarding of children, candidates will need to be good listeners with the ability to proactively create a safe and positive environment in which young athletes can excel.
