Dundee Comets head into the upcoming weekend aiming to book their place in the semi-finals of the Stuart Robertson Cup (SRC).
The Comets host local rivals Dundee Tigers in the northern section on Saturday bidding to gain revenge for their 5-2 defeat in the reverse fixture last weekend.
They go head-to-head with Aberdeen Lynx the following day knowing that two victories would secure top spot in the group. The Tigers travel to Kirkcaldy Kestrels in their final group game during November.
There is just one other fixture in the SRC as Kilmarnock Thunder take on Paisley Pirates in the southern group.
Solway Sharks return to Scottish National League action following their thrilling victory over Murrayfield Racers in the NIHL North Cup last weekend.
The Sharks trailed 3-0 midway through the game, but battled back to secure a 4-3 success courtesy of Scott Henderson’s late breakaway goal.
The result left Solway four points clear of Whitley Warriors, Billingham Stars and Murrayfield in the cross-border competition, with the Comets bottom of the group without a point.
The Dumfries-based outfit, who have won five-out-of-five in the league, visit North Ayrshire Wild on Saturday before hosting Paisley the following day.
