Solway Sharks maintained their 100 percent record in the Scottish National League with two comfortable victories over the weekend.
Jakko Heiskanen (6), Ewan Anderson (4), Lewis Houston (4) and Marcus Murdoch (4) were amongst the scorers as the Sharks raced to a 29-0 victory at Kilmarnock Thunder.
The Dumfries-based outfit made it a four-point weekend with an emphatic 8-1 home win over Aberdeen Lynx.
Aberdeen had better luck in the Stuart Robertson Cup the previous evening as they ran out 9-5 winners on home ice against Dundee Tigers – Elliott Willetts (2), Jack Durkacz (2) and Aaron Thomson (2) led their scoring.
Dundee Comets look well-placed to secure a place in the last four of the competition after claiming a narrow 8-7 home victory over Kirkcaldy Kestrels.
Murrayfield Racers remain unbeaten in the SRC after winning 11-3 at North Ayrshire Wild and 14-0 at home to Kilmarnock.
Marty Simpson and Rihards Grigors weighed in with hat-tricks against Wild, while Lewis Gold (5) topped the scoring against Thunder.
