Paisley Pirates coach Adam Walker is hoping the tide will turn for them this weekend in their double header of SNL games.
Pirates head to North Ayrshire Wild on Saturday on the hunt for points before Edinburgh Capitals arrive at Braehead Arena on Sunday to complete a busy weekend.
With only one win in their four games so far and bodies missing for a variety of reasons, Walker admits they will be up against it, but reckons his team can turn things around.
“It was tough game for us last week and I don’t think we gave our best effort and last weekend gave us a couple of injuries as well,” he said.
“Added to the suspensions and a couple of guys who will be out because of work commitments or personal reasons, we’re up against it with four or five players missing.
“We’ve worked hard this week to rectify some of the errors from Sunday, but we are looking forward to both games.

“North Ayrshire Wild are always a good opponent and always make it a good game and I expect no different when we go there on Saturday.
“Then we’re back home to face Edinburgh Capitals for the first time on Sunday and they’ve had a good start to the season so it’s important we lay down a marker for the weekend and continue to improve.
“I do believe we are very close and felt we have dominated our opponents in points during games, but we have to try and get the foot down.
“We’re looking forward to get going and hope to get the right results over the weekend.”
Aside from the two Pirates, the one other SNL fixture taking place this week sees Kirkcaldy Kestrels taking on Kilmarnock Thunder, looking to bounce back from their two losses.
While they took single points from the two games, victory here would put them level on points with Aberdeen Lynx at the SNL summit, with the league leaders having a weekend off.
