Solway Sharks Junior teams have been busy over the past few weeks, taking part in tournaments at Kilmarnock and Murrayfield.
The U12s faced a variety of teams in Kilmarnock, progressing out of their group to make it through to the semi-finals.
The edged a tight contest against Belfast to reach the final, where they came out on top against a hard-working Murrayfield side.
Team manager, Sam Rae, said: “It was a long day for the players, but they were delighted to win and really deserved the tournament title.
“They played really well every game and never gave up even if they were behind. They just kept playing the way they had been taught, and reaped the rewards in the end.
“They all had a great time and went home tired but very happy.”
The U10s travelled to Murrayfield Ice Rink for their tournament, playing numerous games in quick success against a variety of opposition.
Head coach, Chris Jackson, said: “I’m extremely proud of everyone. We had a style we wanted to play, we stuck to it and it paid off, giving us a few wins.
“Even more pleasing was the fact that everyone showed a great deal of respect to each other and to all our opponents, and showed class all night whilst in the Sharks jersey.
“I’m looking forward to being able to take them to more games this season.”
