The final Scottish Ice Hockey recreational ice hockey tournament of the series, “The Plate”, concluded last weekend with an exciting match. Over the two-day event held in Dumfries, 10 teams battled it out on the ice.
In the final on Sunday, the Warriors IHC emerged victorious, defeating the Glasgow Mustangs by a score of 5-0 to claim the coveted silverware.
The road to the final saw the Warriors and Edinburgh Knights clash in the first semi-final on Sunday afternoon, with the Warriors prevailing 3-1. The second semi-final pitted the Glenrothes Cougars against the Glasgow Mustangs, and the Mustangs advanced with a 3-1 win.
