Aberdeen Lynx endured mixed fortunes in their weekend double-header against title rivals Dundee Comets.

The Scottish National League leaders were beaten 8-3 on home ice by the Comets on Saturday – Garry Simpson (3) topped the scoring for the visitors.

However, Lynx bounced back in the reverse fixture on Sunday, claiming a 3-2 shoot-out win at Dundee Ice Arena – Jordan Leyden bagged the decisive goal.

Jack Henderson and Ross Johnston were on target as Dundee Tigers secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory at Belfast SNL Giants. Carter Hamill scored for the home side.

North Ayrshire Wild were unfortunate not to take at least a point from their road trip to Paisley Pirates after outshooting the home team.

Aidan Fulton (2) was on the scoresheet for Wild, while Marty Simpson, Conor Duncan and Ollie King netted for the Pirates in a narrow 3-2 win.
