The weekend could see some changes at the top of the league table with 4 games being played.
The Paisley Pirates have another double header this weekend with an away game on Saturday against Kilmarnock Thunder and their last league home game of the season on Sunday against Kirkcaldy Kestrels.
Currently sitting 4th in the league table at 30 points, just 1 point behind the Comets and 3 points behind the Edinburgh Capitals, a double win this weekend could see them being contenders at the top of the table.
With zones and corners being tight on the Galleon ice pad giving players less time in the space, Ian Turley’s team will be looking for a good result against the unpredictable Kilmarnock side.
The Kirkcaldy Kestrels have won their last three league games even bagging an overtime win against league leaders Aberdeen Lynx. 6 points behind the Pirates they will be looking to narrow that gap.

The Capitals and Comets will also be going head to head at Murrayfield. The Caps are just 3 points clear of the Comets and sitting in 2nd place.
The Edinburgh side will be hungry for a win after their defeat last weekend against Aberdeen Lynx, but with both Comets and Caps having won 4 out of their last 5 games it will be sure to be a tight scoreline.
It’s the battle of the big cats in Aberdeen on Saturday with the Tigers making the journey north to the Linx Ice Arena.
Jordan Leyden’s team will be keen to bag the two points for a bit of breathing space as the Capitals have been hot on their heels at the top of the league table.
At their last game the Tigers took a 8-3 win against Aberdeen and will be looking to replicate that scoreline and claw their way up the table.
