A Pivotal Training Day for National Development

This Sunday marks a significant milestone for Scottish Ice Hockey, as it will host the final National Development Day (NDD) training session before teams are selected for an upcoming international trip. With anticipation building, this weekend is set to highlight the dedication and talent of our players across multiple venues.

A Unique Training Day Setup

Due to limited ice availability, this crucial training day will span four different rinks. This multi-venue approach ensures that all teams and groups have the opportunity to make the most of their ice time. Each rink will feature a carefully planned schedule to accommodate the specific needs of the players and coaching staff.

Scotland Girls Begin Their Development Journey

This weekend also marks a special occasion for Scotland Girls, as they participate in their first NDD session. Their previous session had to be canceled due to adverse weather, making this debut even more significant. While Scotland Girls will not be traveling internationally at this stage, this session provides an invaluable opportunity to further their development within the program.

Timetables for Each Venue

To ensure a smooth and well-organised day, a timetable for each of the venues is provided below. Players and parents are encouraged to review these schedules in advance to ensure timely arrivals and optimal preparation.

Looking Ahead

The coaches face the challenging task of finalising their selections following this session. The hard work and determination displayed by all participants throughout the development program have been truly inspiring. We’re excited to see which players will take their skills to the international stage and represent Scotland with pride.

Stay tuned for updates and announcements regarding team selections and the upcoming trips. Best of luck to all participants as they step onto the ice for this pivotal session!
