Kirkcaldy Kestrels have added two more returnees to their roster, with George Pitcaithly and Finley King agreeing another year with the club.
The two young forwards helped the Kestrels finished sixth in the Scottish National League (SNL) last season and are eager to continue their development this time around.
Pitcaithly, who weighed in with two goals and 12 assists in 24 appearances last term, says he is keen to help the Kestrels climb the standings next term.
“I’m happy to be back with the Kestrels for another year and I can’t wait to get the season started,” he said.
“I’m very hopeful we will build on the form we should at the end of last season by showing the same consistency and competitiveness which will enable us to fight for some trophies.”
King enjoyed an impressive debut year at senior level, scoring seven goals with eight assists in 19 appearances to finish fifth in the team’s points standings.
“I’m happy to be back for another year and looking forward to getting back on the ice with my teammates,” said King.
“Individually I’ll be aiming to progress my game and collectively we’ll be looking to improve on last season.
“It was unfortunate the season was cut short when it was, as we’d started to turn our form around and were looking to have a real go at the play-offs.
“That run proved what we’re capable of and we’ll be looking to hit the ground running.”
