Scottish Ice Hockey update regarding coronavirus outbreak

SIHA Scottish Ice Hockey

This weekend’s Scottish Ice Hockey programme will be played as scheduled.

The SIH board has noted the government’s announcement that the United Kingdom is moving into the next stage of the action against the coronavirus.

SIH is in regular contact with the other UK ice hockey governing bodies and continues to follow advice given by the government and the NHS.

At present, we reiterate the steps published in this joint statement.

New advice, effective from 13th March, says that people should self-isolate for seven days if they have either a new continuous cough or a high temperature.

We respectfully request that this advice is adhered to.

Should the situation change, details will be published via our website and social media channels.
