Clubs across the Scottish National League (SNL) have stepped up their preparations for the upcoming season by announcing a plethora of signings this week.
Kilmarnock Thunder have strengthened their roster with eight more additions including veteran utility player Richard Thorp.
The 37-year-old spent the last few seasons with Paisley Pirates, having previously iced for several other SNL clubs.
The Pirates have strengthened their roster with six signings including returnees Marty Simpson and Kris Phillips.
Michael Dobson has also rejoined the Pirates after a couple of years out of the sport, while Garry Simpson has been snapped up from Dundee Comets.
Ryan Parkin and Gary Parker are the other additions to the Pirates’ roster after exiting North Ayrshire Wild.
The west coast outfit have announced four signings over the past few days – Dylan Murray, Jack Neil, Keegan Cairns and Lewis McCrindle.
Aberdeen Lynx have confirmed four returnees to their squad – Jonathan Hogan, Jack Flynn, Owen Michie and Alex Newman.
Kirkcaldy Kestrels have welcomed Tommy Muir back for another year, while Conor and Jay Duncan have returned to the club after two seasons with the Pirates.
The Comets have added Scott Geddes and Adam Robinson to their squad, while Dundee Tigers have appointed Richie Phillips as their new head coach.
Steven Clark, Josh Quinn, Angus Maclean and Aaron Forsyth have signed for SNL new-boys Edinburgh Capitals.
