St Andrews Cup Set for Fife Ice Arena This Weekend

Fife Ice Arena will host the St Andrews Cup this weekend as junior teams from across Scotland come together for two days of Under 12 and Under 14 ice hockey action.

Taking place on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 May, the event will see clubs from Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Fife, Kilmarnock, Moray, North Ayr and Solway compete across group games, classification fixtures and finals over the course of the weekend.

A total of 12 teams will take part across the two age groups, with games running throughout both days at Kirkcaldy’s Fife Ice Arena. The tournament forms part of the junior calendar and gives players the opportunity to compete against teams from across the country in a busy weekend environment.

Games begin from 9:00am on both Saturday and Sunday, with Saturday’s schedule focused on the opening group stage fixtures before the remaining group games, classification matches and finals take place on Sunday.

The U12 Final is scheduled for 4:15pm on Sunday, with the U14 Final following at 5:45pm. Presentations will take place after the conclusion of the finals.
