SIH announces revised details for end-of-season senior events

Scottish Ice Hockey (SIH) is pleased to announce the revised details for its end-of-season senior events in the Scottish National League (SNL).

Plans to stage separate events for the SNL play-offs and Scottish Cup have been reworked due to the extension of the regular season based on the recent COVID-19 restrictions placed on the sport.

SIH has formulated a new plan which will see all eight SNL clubs compete for two trophies in a showpiece weekend at Dundee Ice Arena on 30th April/1st May.

The road to Dundee will start at the end of the regular season as play-off quarter-finals are staged to determine the line-up.

These matches will be played over two legs on a home and away basis – 1v8, 2v7, 3v6, 4v5.

The winners of the four ties will contest the SNL play-off title, while the four defeated teams will compete for the Aurora Cup.

The four semi-finals in the two mini-tournaments will be played on Saturday, 30th April, with the winners progressing to the respective finals the following day.

The event will be the perfect opportunity for fans of all teams to enjoy an action-packed weekend of live ice hockey with two trophies up for grabs.

Tickets will be available to buy online shortly – be sure to get yours fast as we hope to welcome a big crowd to Dundee!
