Kirkcaldy Kestrels have continued to build their roster for the 2019/20 Scottish National League (SNL) season with the addition of two experienced forwards.
Allan Anderson has agreed another year with the club, while Andrew Finlay returns to the Kestrels after three seasons away from ice hockey.
Anderson has plenty of higher-level experience under his belt, having previously played around 150 games in the Elite League for Fife Flyers.
The 30-year-old averaged a point-per-game last season as the Kestrels finished third in the league and reached the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup and the play-offs.
Finlay last iced for the Kestrels back in 2015/16, helping the team clinch their second successive league title.
The 40-year-old previously played for the Flyers and Dundee Stars in the British National League (BNL), in addition to representing Great Britain at various junior levels.
Elsewhere in the SNL, Dundee Comets have secured the services of forward Garry Simpson for the upcoming campaign.
Simpson has spent the last three seasons with the Kestrels and been an important part of Fife Falcons’ run of success in the Scottish U20 League.
