Murrayfield Racers won the Stuart Robertson Cup for the second successive year after securing an emphatic victory against Dundee Comets over the weekend.
Joel Gautschi, Sean Donaldson, Michael Ireland and Archie Holmes were on target as the Racers claimed a 4-2 advantage after Saturday’s first leg in Dundee.
Gautschi led the way the following evening, weighing in with four goals as the cup holders won 10-4 to complete a 14-6 aggregate success.
Dundee Tigers booked their place in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup as they secured a 13-5 aggregate victory over North Ayrshire Wild.
The Tigers led 6-2 after the first leg and completed the job with an impressive 7-3 success on the road – Andrew Henderson (2), Ross McIntosh (2), Paul Guilcher, Pavel Pliskov and Richy Fox got the goals.
Aberdeen Lynx snapped their five-game losing streak with a comfortable 14-0 home victory over Kilmarnock Thunder in the Scottish National League (SNL) – Mark Laing (4), Iain Malcolm (3) and Jordan Leyden (3) topped their scoring.
