Solway Sharks retained their unbeaten record in the NIHL North Cup after completing a thrilling comeback at Whitley Warriors.
The Sharks trailed 3-0 at the end of the first period, but they battled back to tie things up at 3-3 and send the game to overtime.
Neither side could break the deadlock during the extra session, meaning penalty shots were required to determine the winner.
Solway kept their nerve during the shoot-out to secure the victory – Jaakko Heiskanen bagged the deciding goal.
Murrayfield Racers are in pole position to claim top spot in the southern group of the Stuart Robertson Cup after romping to an emphatic 9-1 home victory over Paisley Pirates.
The Pirates had grabbed a narrow 3-2 win over Aberdeen Lynx in the league the previous day, but they had no answer to the Racers as the home side ran riot at Murrayfield Ice Rink.
Joel Gautcschi (4), Callum Boyd (2), Alex Christian (2) and Archie Holmes were on target for the cup holders.
Dundee Comets picked up their first league victory of the campaign with an impressive 6-1 success at North Ayrshire Wild – John Dolan (2), Patriks Grigors, Aaron Robertson, David Pokorny and Lewis McIntosh got their goals.
Richy Fox, Jack Henderson, Andrew Henderson and Robbie Barnett were on the scoresheet for Dundee Tigers as they ran out 4-1 winners over Kirkcaldy Kestrels.
