SNL round-up: Thunder roar back, Racers’ reunion continues apace in the capital

Kilmarnock Thunder have kicked off their preparations for the upcoming Scottish National League (SNL) season by announcing four returnees to their roster.

Prolific forward Marcus Murdoch has agreed another season with the club, while Struan Forbes, Thomas Mangan and Marc Fowley also return for a further year.

Dundee Comets have continued their summer rebuild by confirming five members of last season’s squad will be back in the fold this term.

Sean Beattie, Liam Griffin, Cam McGiffin, Josh Hamilton and Darren Donaldson all return for another year with the 2021/22 SNL play-off winners.

Feisty forward Luca DeSimone has agreed another year with North Ayrshire Wild along with Tom Morgenthaler, Liam Anderson and Adam Kerr.

Netminder Dale Shearer returns for his second season with Aberdeen Lynx, while ‘D’ man Adam Farmer has signed for Kirkcaldy Kestrels after a few years out of the sport.

Edinburgh Capitals have continued to mop up former Murrayfield Racers players, with Joel Gautschi, Jack Wright, Archie Holmes and Kieran Black all signing for the club.
