Three week lockdown puts Scottish Ice Hockey out of action

From Boxing Day the whole of mainland Scotland will be in the country’s toughest tier of restrictions for at least three weeks.

This means that all rinks will close and the SIH training camp scheduled to take place at Dundee Ice Arena on January 10th will not be staged. We will aim to reschedule this on another date.

SIH will issue a further update regarding subsequent sessions when the government publishes advice regarding what happens after this three week period.

It is obviously frustrating for everyone to be in this position, but we will continue to follow government advice to protect the safety of our community.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy Christmas and we hope that the New Year proves to a more fruitful one than 2020.
